Information Literacy Workshop
On December 8, 2006 I facilitated an “Information Literacy Workshop” at the University of Windsor Library. About 15 librarians attended. Comments included “Thank-you, it was a great learning experience. Karen is a great facilitator and speaker. It was valuable time spent.”

On Thursday December 7, 2006 I attended the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences holiday party where the Kate McCrone Teaching Award “in recognition of outstanding contributions to the designing and teaching of the new course Ways of Knowing” was presented. Tamsin Bolton, Information Literacy Coordinator is on the team that developed and is teaching this innovative course. Tamsin was the first Information Literacy Intern at the University of Winnipeg. Congratulations Tamsin!
Where did I go? Apologies for not posting for months. I’ve been appointed the Acting University Library at the University of Winnipeg and things have been a bit hectic!
